Klausenhutte in Spitzingsee

I suspected that the Strudel was frozen and even if it wasn't, i did not like it at all. The man that took the order should be more nice, smily and friendly...but this is a general statement for the Bavarian region. Be more friendly with your customers! do not give them for granted!

Everything is good. The controls are great. However, the toilets could be cleaner

So I made an involuntary bivouac without food in the mountains. Accordingly, I came down from the mountain hungry and hypoglycated and just wanted french fries without salt. And what good is this extremely unfriendly looking waitress who showed no understanding at all - not even for the fact that you don't have to pay 25 min. For simple fries. had to wait in the cold wind and therefore jogged briefly behind the restaurant (of course with a reservation of a place at the table) so as not to cool down; in addition, the cigarette air, which was clearly coming from the restaurant or its kitchen, was really unbearable) ... ?? Lukewarm thin fries fried in apparently old oil with an annual ration of salt! First I tried a few, but with the best will in the world it wasn't possible to eat them. Of course, on such a well-attended day, the waitress had better things to do than worrying about whether everything was right with such "side dishes", and then quickly overlooks "some" attempts to draw their attention to them; which I managed to do after I got in her way. Irritated whether I wanted salt-free fries, that is, a replacement, she harshly took the bowl and disappeared. It took a little longer, but then it came. Now everything could have ended to everyone's satisfaction, but the substitute was now hot, but the same salty / salted fries that the cook just fried again, the second or third time. With all understanding for human error and a certain inclined unfriendliness, such interaction was a bit annoying and therefore expressed that of the service - still in a moderate way. It was only when she did not react to this that I became angry and spoke to the surrounding guests (apart from the couple next door, who had already agreed with me beforehand), and did not necessarily describe them in a whisper, which I really had no reason for, but objectively, that Problem. That, in turn, the landlord couldn't accept, ran out of his restaurant / kitchen, and came up to me without a mask and to keep the required distance in an aggressive manner and insulted me - extremely annoying something like that. If I hadn't been so completely hypoglycemic, I could have sorted it out on the spot. So for the time being I left it with the clarification of all groups still coming towards me on that day (around 60 people, not a few of whom were on the verge of making the same mistake and choosing the same restaurant).

Nice view over the Spitzingsee after the hike. Heat kitchen over lunch and in the evening, Had fun with the service and the friendly Bavarian humor, prices OK

The cabin is a good inn. The quality of the food is perfect. The service was nice but monosyllabic and unfortunately did not know the environment. The prices are very high which is everywhere in this environment.

Gastronomy right on the lake, very nice service, good, tasty food or a wheat beer to quench your thirst after the hike .... all this I got here, Thanks for that!

Food was very good , views are lovely service was totally overwhelmed and therefore very slow

Top location with a great view of the Spitzingsee. Good food (Käsespätzle, Kaiserschmarn and schnitzel). Also ok in terms of price. Fast and friendly service.

Very good Speckknödel Suppe. Kaiserschmarrn is good but not the best. Very comfy atmosphere like une a hüte.

Great views, traditional Bavarian fare and very friendly service.

You get what you see. It is not overexciting but it is not bad neither. Saidly they decided for plastic chairs and plastic table in the summer outside.
